Danika Chesney
Project Designer
B.ArchSci, M.Arch, OAA Intern
Danika is a Project Designer at ENFORM Architects and is well on her way to licensure as an Intern Architect with the OAA. She is passionate about continually expanding her knowledge and experience in high-performance buildings, implementing passive design strategies, and using low carbon materials across all her work.
Prior to joining ENFORM, Danika worked on a wide range of project types across all project phases through internships at both small and larger firms. She brings with her a strong sense of design, highly technical graphic skills, and a deep understanding of BIM to ENFORM.
Danika received her Master of Architecture from McGill University and Bachelor of Architectural Science from Toronto Metropolitan University. She was awarded the AIA Medal of Academic Excellence as well as the ARCOP/ALCAN Award for her thesis design sensitivity in her adaptive reuse framework on a former, now abandoned, Expo 67 site in Montreal. Other notable research work included climate resilient design, mass timber design, and passive thermal strategies.
In her free time, Danika enjoys film photography, wheel-throwing ceramics, and refinishing mid-century modern furniture.
